She serves as Professor of Reproductive Science at University College London in the Institute for Women’s Health, where she leads the Reproductive Science and Society Group. With over three decades of experience in fertility, genetics, and reproductive science, Professor Harper has published over 240 scientific papers and three books. Her expertise spans women’s health, fertility, menopause, reproductive health education and lifestyle.

Joyce co-founder of many initiatives including: the UK Menopause Education and Support Programme, InTune, the UK Fertility Education Initiative, the International Reproductive Health Education Collaboration and the research network SWIMHER, dedicated to exploring women’s health and cold water swimming.
